Our little "red head..."

We had a great day in the studio yesterday with our little 4 year old son. He actually came to us and wanted to have his pictures taken! We were shocked. He proceeded to pick out his own clothes and gave us directions as to what backgrounds to use! A little photographer in the making! You will notice a few spectacular images of Grant on our website. He loves the camera and the camera loves him! What a gem! We are so proud of our two boys.

We wanted to say thanks to Kim for inviting us to speak at their MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) at Hosannah Church on Friday. Our presentation was about how to take more artistic pictures of children and families. The audience was very receptive and asked some really good questions. A special thank you goes to the AV guys. What a treat not having to set up all of our gear. We look forward to giving more of these types of workshops in the future. Senior season 2009 is under way!

We are excited to say we shot our first senior for the school year 2009 today. Kristine, from Burnsville High School, had a great time being "the model of the day". She wore clothes ranging from casual to formal, and we even included some great shots of her goldendoodle dog. The Greatest Job on Earth!

I must admit, we have the greatest job ever! I have run into 2 of our favorite clients today... who I can now say are now FRIENDS. We are truly blessed to be able to do what we love while meeting such incredible people! What an honor to be chosen from such a sea of photographers to capture important milestones in peoples lives. Thank you to all of our fabulous customers! We cherish each and every one of you!

We are gearing up for the best season ever at C'est La Vie! We are already beginning our photo shoots of all of our selected 2009 Senior Models! Congratulations to all of them! We have been blessed with the greatest junior/seniors this year to represent our awesome studio. We are looking forward to A LOT of fun and the hottest senior year yet!

Now that the slopes are melting... it is time to get back to business! Happy Spring!

We did it... We are bloggin'

Finally, we are bloggers! We are completing our new website and getting ready for the best year yet at C'est La Vie! We have had a few quiet weeks after a hectic season at the studio. We have met many fabulous people along the way. We have had the opportunity to enjoy a lot of skiing this winter but we are looking forward to summer and another great year in our business. We are having the time of our lives right now with 2 great kids, a thriving business and just enjoying what life has to offer.
